Maintenance Your SignatureSM pool will give you hours of backyard fun. Give it just a few minutes of preventive pool care, and you’ll ensure family fun for years to come. Twice-a-Week - Check and maintain pH levels at 7.2 – 7.6.
- Monitor and maintain chlorine levels at 1.0 – 3.0 ppm.
- Empty your skimmer baskets, skim leaves, toss out insects, and eradicate all other debris from pool surface. Don't forget to clean pool wall tile at the water line.
Once-a-Week- In the evening, shock the pool with packaged shock treatment. This treatment will restore the sparkle and sheen to your pool water as it destroys germs and burns away organic contaminants. Additional packaged shock treatment may be needed in the event of rainstorms, heavy bather load, or exceptionally hot weather.
- After you shock your pool, add a maintenance dose of algaecide the next morning.
Monthly - Take a water sample to your local Pool Retailer and get a complete water analysis. Be sure to test these levels:
Alkalinity
Calcium hardness
Stabilizer
Mid-Season - Clean your filter with a filter cleaner to remove any of the oils and grease that may have accumulated in your filter.
